Ramsay Macdonald

A biography of Ramsay Macdonald, the Labour party’s first Prime Minister. About the author: Dr Kevin Morgan teaches government and politics at Manchester University. His main research interests are in the history of the British left and comparative communist party history. He has written two books about Communist Party history, including a biography of the British Communist leader Harry Pollitt, and has recently been studying the papers of Ramsay Macdonald.
