Publisher Description
New York Times bestselling author Joanna Wylde returns to the “wild and raw”* world of the Reapers MC with the story of Gage and Tinker…
The club comes first. I’ve lived by those words my whole life—assumed I’d die by them, too, and I never had a problem with that. My Reaper brothers took my back and I took theirs and it was enough. Then I met her. Tinker Garrett. She’s beautiful, she’s loyal, and she works so damned hard it scares me sometimes...She deserves a good man—one better than me. I can’t take her yet because the club still needs me. There’s another woman, another job, another fight just ahead.
Now she’ll learn I’ve been lying to her all along. None of it’s real. Not my name, not my job, not even the clothes I wear. She thinks I’m nice. She pretends we’re just friends, that I’ve still got a soul...Mine’s been dead for years. Now I’m on fire for this woman, and a man can only burn for so long before he destroys everything around him.
I’m coming for you, Tinker. Soon.

Great Read
4.75 Stars
I have to say Reapers MC is my favourite MC series and I have waited patiently for Gage and Tinkers story and I wasn't disappointed, it gave me everything I expect from Joanna Wylde.
Gage has been sent undercover to see exactly what is going on in a rival MC club who are meant to be declaring what business they move through Reapers territory. This means hooking up with the presidents slutty sister which Gage was ok with untill he met Tinker.....
Tinker makes chocolates for a living is fresh out of a failed marriage and the last thing she needs is a relationship with a MC member. The problem is she needs a handyman to keep her premises up and running and Gage is the only guy coming forward in this small Washington town.
The feelings between Gage and Tinker are mutual but he has a job to do and she believes he has a girlfriend. Will they give into their feelings .....
There is chemistry and lots of sexual tension and this book is a great read. I love that each book is about different members of Reapers and that each book does give us a start and a ending
Looking forward to more from The Reapers MC
An interesting addition
I am a big fan of Joanna Wylde and her Reaper MC series. This is book 6 in the series and is one of my favourite MC series of all time. As with all the previous books in this series, Reaper’s Fire was gritty and realistic.
Gage (aka Cooper) always does what needs to be done for his fellow MC brothers, even when that includes going undercover and hooking up with Talia, sister of the president of the MC that the Reaper’s suspect is stealing from them. Gage takes a job as Tinker’s maintenance man and lodger.
However, all that changes when he meets Tinker Garrett, a woman who intrigues him from the first. Tinker is still recovering from a horrible tragedy and a bad marriage. The last thing Tinker needs is to be attracted to Gage, a man who appears to be already involved with someone else.
I have mixed emotions over this book. Whilst reading, I was troubled by the amount of time that Gage was “involved” with Talia, as I felt it detracted from the relationship building with Tinker.
I really loved Gage and Tinker together, but for me that didn’t happen enough or fast enough as they really don’t get together officially until well into the book. Although having said that, there was certainly a great deal of sexual tension built between Gage and Tinker. The chemistry between them was smoking hot and these two, when they finally connected sizzled. I so admired Tinker, she was feisty and unique, a great character whom I think I would love her if I were to meet her; her best friend Margarita was awesome.
What happens though when Tinker finds out that Gage is not who he appears to be and that Gage isn’t even his name? What will she do when the truth is revealed about his relationship with Talia? I have to say Tinker was much more forgiving than I would be.
From the very beginning, to the end Reaper’s Fire was an emotional roller coaster, the prologue broke my heart but wow, what strength and determinations was shown by Tinker.
Although there were some negatives for me in this book, there were a great deal of positives; strong characters, a well written storyline that challenged the reader and some outstanding secondary characters all made for an interesting read.
The Reaper’s MC will always hold a special place in my heart as they were my very first MC series. I love coming back to them and I cannot wait for the next book by Joanna Wylde.
