Reckless Love

I absolutely loved this series and this book was no exception.

SPOILER ALERT

The entire part of the book about being parents to a preemie in hospital was absolutely spot on. I found myself sobbing while reading as it brought back memories of having my son 6 weeks early. I loved that Kelley was able to capture how heartbreaking it is to be a parent of a preemie and having to leave your baby at the hospital day in day out not knowing when they will be able to come home. It was incredible writing that took me back 5 years and I remembered my entire experience too. Very well done! Can’t wait to read more of your books!

5 Star Review Reckless Love (Cowboys & Angels #7) by Kelly Elliott

If you haven’t read the previous books in the series, I would recommend you do so first as I believe you will get more enjoyment out of Reckless Love.

I dreaded reading this book, as I knew it was the final book in the Cowboys and Angels Series. However, I also knew that it was going to be a fabulous book.

I have been waiting so patiently for Trevor’s story and it was so worth the wait. Scarlet was certainly the right woman for Trevor.

Every book in the series has been better than the previous one and I love the Parker family so much. Trevor and Scarlet’s story will tug at your heart. My heart almost broke for Scarlet at times and Trevor, well I just wanted to deck him.

Kelly Elliott writes strong characters and she is not afraid to show their flaws, I think it is this that makes her books so special.

Trevor was always going to be the Parker man to fall the hardest and fall he did. Reckless Love had me engrossed from the first chapter to the last and lived up to my expectations in every way.

This was one of those books I wanted to take slowly, particularly because I knew it was the final book in the series and yet I found myself riveted and saying to myself, just one more chapter until I finished.

Reckless Love was a beautifully written, romantic story and one I highly recommend. Congratulations Ms. Elliott, a fitting end to one of my favourite series.

The final book in the Cowboys and Angels Series and first off you need to have read the previous books to fully enjoy this one, was I sad to see this series come to an end was I scared to pick this book up ...hell yes but Kelly Elliott finished this brilliant series with a bang, I want to say she left the best for last but for me every book in this series is amazing they are all books I will read and listen to over and over again because I love the Parker family and their pet goats so much.
Trevor Parker was the brother everyone loves to hate, he may be living life in the fast lane he may be the playboy of the family but does that mean he’s not a romantic at heart ....
Scarlett had to make Trevor think she had moved on for him to get his finally act together and pursue the woman who stole a piece of his heart but that doesn’t mean the path to true love for this couple is easy, they have a few obstacles to manoeuvre before they find their HEA.....
This very talented author gave us just what was needed to bring this very successful series to a end, she gave us love, she gave us some tears and she gave has laughter because let’s be honest you can’t have a true Parker gathering without Patches the goat we have all come to love. Perfect ending to one of my favourite series of all time. Can’t wait to see where Kelly Elliott takes us next.
