Welcome to the Tower: forty unique levels of challenging, live-action game play where gamers seek fame and fortune on the professional circuit—provided they survive. In the Tower, Squad is Life, and loyalty is tested every step of the way.

And now, a new game launch is imminent—The Red Moon Rising game. But first, players must compete in harsh circumstances to qualify. Out of hundreds of players, only sixteen squads will progress into the main game. To lose is not merely a missed opportunity, but the loss of player character. No respawn. No second chances. Just game over.

Enter Bree Sullivan, mild-mannered analyst on the ASD Spectrum. She doesn't have IRL friends. She doesn't date. Her escape from an otherwise quiet life is gaming, where she is free to be her truest self: Artemis Kane—bad-ass Mercenary with a knack for strategy and one hell of a temper.

Artemis is everything she isn't: cool, cunning, confident. Together with the ferociously loyal and chaotic Rogue Tala and their crusty veteran of a coach Leo, they make up the scrappy and unpredictable Havoc Squad.

Who is expected to win? King Squad, led by formidable captain Gideon King. Champion from a long line of champions who  brutal, questionable tactics. Everyone around him—including his own squad members— expendable. The rules  mere suggestions, meant for other people. Victory is the only thing that matters.

Imagine his fury when the unknown Havoc Squad  in his way, over and over again. He soon becomes obsessed with defeating them, vowing to do whatever it takes to put them down once and for all.

Bree Sullivan might be intimidated. Artemis Kane, on the other hand…she's looking forward to the inevitable confrontation.

All she needs is a little help from her friends.
