Assistant Commissioner Paweł Andrzejewski from the homicide department breaks down after the death of his younger brother Łukasz, murdered by gangsters. Despite the efforts of friends, nobody manages to learn from Paweł about what happened between him and the murderer Łukasz, who - in desperation and attempts to save his brother - shot him. Soon, in the life of the young commissioner, Ania Wagner appears - a delicate and sensitive girl who pulls him out of depression, understands perfectly and turns out to be a great love. Paweł, however, has no intention of engaging in a relationship, because he is afraid that through his work he will put Ania in danger ... After returning to the command, Andrzejewski begins cooperation with the energetic Karolina Lemańska. Meanwhile, an unidentified, previously tortured victim with a massacred face in someone else's house, false testimony, a religious sister with a surprising past, Polish-Spanish mafia and a dangerous shooting is just the beginning ...
