Publisher Description
Introduction Although great progress has been made in reducing the number of babies who die through cot death over the past 20 years, over 300 babies still die each year in the UK (FSID, 2011). It remains the main type of death in babies over one month of age. It has been estimated that over half of these deaths could be prevented if parents followed the 'Reduce the Risk' advice (Carpenter et al, 2004).
