Reviving Hearts

I’m loving meeting the Monroe Brothers and I love Christmas so Heath and Marley’s story was always going to be on my radar but nothing could have prepared me for this epic second chance love story. Reviving Hearts ( The Monroe Brothers #3) is a wonderful addition to the series and it’s a journey that touched me on so many levels. Ms Coll writes wonderful romances set in small towns and from the moment I picked this book up I knew I was reading something very special. Heath and Marley have know each other most of their lives and they even secretly dated durning high school but Marley walked away and never looked back until now. Marley is back in town because she had inherited her grandmothers Inn. She is not looking to stay only to sell and move on but from the moment Marley and Heath cross paths again feelings come rushing to the surface and that’s when the fun begins because Heath needs to convince Marley that he is worthy of a second chance…… I loved everything about this book, it ticked all my boxes as I fell hard and fast for Heath and I adored Marley but what made this book special was watching these two learn to trust their hearts. The chemistry is hot, the banter is witty and this book has the perfect mix of love and emotion but let’s not forget the camaraderie the Monroe brothers share which just adds more depth to this gem of a read.

You simply can’t turn two chapters into a book by continuously rewriting the same issues.

I love any story that is centred around Christmas; it’s a time to get together and celebrate. Lea Coll has an affinity for writing stories set in small towns and this was a good example of the genre.
Marley and Heath were secretly in love but broke up and Marley left town. Marley avoided coning home at all costs since she didn’t want to run into Heath. Now she has returned after inheriting her grandmothers inn which she plans to sell.

I enjoy Lea Coll’s style of writing; her characters are engaging and Reviving Hearts drew me in and held me captive until the last word was read. I fell hard and fast for Heath, such a swoon worthy, caring, loving man, he ticked all the boxes for me.
It was entertaining to watch their relationship as they re-connected and I was cheering for them to get the happily ever after they both deserved. The connection between these two is strong despite the past and it was emotional at times as Heath did his best to show Marley he is worth a second chance.

The camaraderie between Heath and his brothers adds an additional layer to the story.
