Entertaining
Having read and enjoyed numerous books by Stacey Lynn I was excited when the opportunity to read Risky Game came up.
Logan Caldwell is the new coach of the Nashville Steel team, a single dad and a man who is recently divorced. His life is busy beyond belief and when his ex-wife decides to go on an extended holiday, she leaves him to raise their daughter Amelia.
That’s when Ruby Moore enters his life. She is the younger sister of one of his players and she wants to be his nanny. For Logan the main issue us that he is attracted to Ruby, and he knows that she needs to be off limits.
The relationship that Ruby forges with Amelia was heartwarming. Risky Game is an emotional, passionate, well written, entertaining story and was a good addition to the series.
Loved everything about this one
I’m loving my visits to Nashville and I love especially catching up and meeting new players from the Nashville Steel the current Super Bowl Champions. This time we get to know the new coach Logan Caldwell and Ruby Moore.
Logan is the youngest coach in the NFL and he is trying to juggle his new job at the Nashville Steel and be a part time single dad. He wasn’t expecting his daughter Amelia full time until his ex wife takes off to Europe and that means he is in desperate need of a nanny….
Enter Ruby who is the younger sister of one of his players. From the moment they meet there is no denying the attraction but she is younger than him and he feels she deserves better and she should be off limits.
Problem is we can’t control our hearts and it seems their hearts want each other. I loved watching this couple play around their feelings, I smiled, I swooned and I found myself cheering them on but what took this story to another level was the relationship Logan had with his daughter. Risky Game is a Great addition to the series, it’s emotional yet entertaining, it’s heartwarming and at times heartbreaking, it’s beautifully written and it ticked all my boxes.
