Chuqiao Yang explores the intricacies of the cultural, generational, and temporal connections and chasms that occur between human beings.

She holds a bachelor of social science degree from the University of Ottawa and is completing a JD at the University of Windsor. Her work has appeared in PRISM International, Contemporary Verse 2, Filling Station, Room, and Grain, and on several CBC Radio broadcasts. In 2011, she received two Western Magazine Awards.
