I don’t give 5*! I always want a book to end! Today was the opposite. I loved the story! It mad me cry, it made me laugh and it made me fall in love. I didn’t expect that from this book. Melissa Foster is my go to for a good read. She out did herself with this one. Thank you
All the feels
Rocked by Love is the the latest release in the A Braden-Bad Boys After Dark Cross Over Series and it’s bad boy rocker Johnny Bad and Jillian Braden’s entertaining and emotional journey. This is one of my favourite reads from the very talented Melissa Foster. Johnny’s world has just been turned upside down when he finds out he has a teenage daughter that his manager has been paying off the mother to keep a secret and not only that the same manager has been stealing from him for years. His daughter may have been kept from him for 14 years but he is now determined to step up and be the dad he should have been from day one problem is he needs to get her to trust him because her world has also been turned upside down after losing her grandma the only person who ever loved her….. Zoey is afraid and her teenage hormones are all over the place so Johnny convinces a stranger ( Jillian) who is meant to be designing his latest tour clothes to help him. What follows is the three of them going into hiding on Jillian’s brothers property in Colorado. Jillian was meant to drop them at the property and move on with her life but Zoey begs her to stay and the one thing Jillian would never do us break this girls heart all over again. Problem is there is some serious chemistry happening between her and Johnny and she is not convinced he needs another distraction. So what does the future hold for Johnny, Jillian and Zoey one click to find out, you won’t be disappointed. This book has all the feels, I swooned, I smiled, I giggled and I cheered this couple on but for me it was a teenager trying to find love that stole my heart. A perfect addition to this wonderful series of crossover reads.
Great story
As I have come to expect from Melissa Foster Rocked by Love was well written with characters whose story you cannot help but be drawn into quickly. This is Jillian Braden and Johnny Bad, a bad boy rock star’s complicated story.
Johnny is trying to put out a number of fires on numerous fronts having just found out he is a dad to a teenage daughter Zoey (one his manger has been paying off to keep her existence hidden and that the same manger has been embezzling from him. Jillian is a fashion designer and her latest client is Johnny Bad. The last thing she expected when she agreed to the job was the complications and sizzling chemistry that crackles between them.
Once he learns about his daughter he is determined to earn her trust and make up for the lost years. My heart went out to Johnny and Zoey in particular as they struggled to connect and explore their relationship. I loved how Johnny’s focus was on Zoey, in supporting her and doing all in his power to protect her.
Escaping to Colorado, Zoey begs Jillian to stay with them and as she is equally protective of the stressed Zoey, she agrees. The relationship that Jillian formed with Zoey was heart warming. Oak Falls, Virginia sounds like a wonderful town to escape too. I loved the push and pull dynamic of their relationship as it developed and it was entertaining to watch it play out.
