Good enough, but I paid for a BOOK, not part of one! You’re cheating, you know, IT MIGHT BE CHEAP ENOUGH, in your opinion, but it’s actually annoying to get what feels like half a book only and have to keep on paying to get the ending!!!

Not going to bother
Sorry to the author, but having read the first review here, I was forewarned that this was only PART OF A SERIES. Like that reader, I absolutely HATE series, especially when you don’t know you’re reading one! I got this for free from a multi-author ‘One day only of free ebooks’ email link, and no-where did it disclose it was a series. In fact, it’s the first of 4 parts, so the total price is around AUS$18. I’d definitely consider this too much for one story, even spread over four ebooks.
To the author, I’d highly recommend making that clear in the description of each part, or even better, reconfiguring the story into one book, even as a ‘boxed set’, so readers know exactly what they’re getting.
Other than that, it’s great to see this genre expanding, and I hope all the authors involved will continue to explore its possibilities. We’re (98%!) loving the books and series that we’re reading, and encourage you to keep pursuing your writing. 👏
