Darcy Evans doesn’t have the time or the patience for a road trip with her estranged mother, Marja. She’s running her website, getting married in a week, and trying to figure out how she feels about a bombshell confession of love — and kiss — from her best friend, Chloe. The last thing Darcy has the energy for is to try to repair her relationship with a mother who cut off contact with her two years ago and doesn’t seem interested in explaining herself.
