Entertaining
I was excited when I heard that Samantha Lind had a new series releasing and if Ryker is anything to go by then she has a winning series on her hand.
From the first chapter I was drawn to the story Ms.Lind wove about Ryker and Avery. I love single parent stories so this book was right up my alley. I loved the relationship that Ryker had with his daughter Ellie and the relationship that Avery forged with her was heart warming.
Ryker is thrilled to have been traded to the same city where his teenage daughter Ellie lives. And even more when she derides that she wants to move in with him rather than move to another state with her mother. Meeting their new next door neighbour Avery. The attraction between them is immediate and it was entertaining to watch their relationship develop.
I loved this couple, they are easy to relate to and I found myself smiling throughout. This was a wonderful read and I am excited to see what Ms.Lind has in store for the series.
