Saint Andrew, the Disciple, the Missionary, the Patron Saint

Saint Andrew is known as the patron saint of fishermen, fishmongers, rope makers, golfers and performers.  He preached the gospel over much of the world to spread the word of God to those who were unfamiliar with the teachings of Jesus.   He was the first person called by Jesus to be an apostle.
