Satellite Views of Lake Al-Razzazah
Publisher Description
It is a man-made lake which was built for the purpose of diverting water and to control flooding caused by the Euphrates River. Historically, it is the second largest lake in Iraq.
In September of 2019 an official at the Iraq Water Ministry said the lake was on the verge of drought, but there was not enough water in the Euphrates River to send it in the direction of Lake Al-Razzazah.
