Not your usual shifter story
I really liked this book. I didn’t expect some of the turns this story took but was pleasantly surprised. Jak has been a character I was keen to learn more about since the first book since he didn’t seem to fit in to his pack, and I’m so glad to know what made him tick. Definitely refreshing to not have the fated mates concept in shifter romance, and rather have love, sacrifice, and the urge to do what’s right as central concepts.
