Scarred for Life

A woman crawled through my sons window, and stabbed him thirty-two times in the head, neck, and shoulder area killing him at eight years old. While grieving, I awoke at 3 a.m. one morning and my son was standing beside the bed. He asked me if he could go with his mom and me. I broke down, trying to be strong for him even in death and told him that he could not. I told him to go to Jesus and we will meet you there. He began crying because he could not understand what had happened to him, but he slowly turned with his head down, crying and said that he loved us.
