Another Great Read
Melissa Foster never dissapoints. Every time I pick up one of her books, I know i'm in for a great read. Seaside Embrace is another great story that needs to be added to your TBR. Melissa has the ability to write her stories so that you have an instant connection to the characters and feel like you know the places and people she writes about. Reading the Seaside Summers Series is like catching up with old friends.
I loved the characters of Hunter and Jana. Hunter is a sexy, charming bad boy who you want to hate, but just can't. Jana is a contradictions she is sensitive and suffers from a range of insecurites stemming from her past, but she also is stubborn and has a will of iron. They are a dynamic strong willed duo with off the charts chemistry, who are known for not being part of a relationship.
"We're good at .....hookups. What if we aren't good at something more?"
It was great reading from both the male and female point of view and reading about the friendships, laughter, support and help they recieved from each other and their friends. Hunter's relationship with his brother Grayson and best friend Clark are wonderful to read about. I loved the way in which the original seaside gang Liana, Amy, Bella & Jenna were incorporated into the story, along with the additions of Jessica and Skye. The dialogue between the girls emphasis their bond and at times had me laughing out loud as I read along with their antics.
This story had a great mix of sweet romance, as well as wanton erotic moments, that Melissa is famous for. I loved how the Seaside Summers series brings together new and old characters, the friendships, romance and chemistry they share. This series is one i'm sure i will reread many times.
