Grant’s run-of-the-mill case soon leads to dangerous discoveries, woven into a vile whirlpool of criminality far beyond conspiracy theories that only Judith Osborne, the Attorney General of the United States, can stop before his last chance of clearing his longtime friend Kyle Miller of the multi-count federal indictment is ripped away.

Now with only days remaining to prove Miller is innocent, Grant and the Attorney General are hurled into a chase of surprising jeopardy, and toward the volatile reality about the secret circle’s identity.  They quickly learn that even though the secret brotherhood has self-issued “special get-outta-jail-cards” there are systematic master plans even murder can’t hide.

After matching wits with the brethren for weeks, their menacing plot and skillfully disguised internal hierarchy of soldiers, captains and the don crystallize for Grant and the Attorney General. 

In the end, and without warning the unthinkable occurs in a federal courtroom in Los Angeles, as Grant and the Attorney General are about to perform one of the most incredible stings in American judicial history.  Regrettably, His Honor will never see the final chapter close in each of the brethren’s personal world as the secret circle is finally decapitated.
