Heartfelt, emotional, romance.
Jen Katemi may tend towards novella length stories, but there is nothing lost in translation or content. Her easy writing style makes stopping before the very end, virtually impossible.
Kasper is next in line to his small countries throne; tired of his playboy ways and reeling from his father’s diminished health, Kasper is determined to be the reigning heir that will make his father proud. But a scheduled trip to Melbourne, Australia has Kas crossing paths with a woman who could change his life forever. Eleni is on a mission, but her heart isn’t in the latest assignment. And after meeting the charming and slightly vulnerable prince, she is less inclined to weave her usual con of deception and lies, while destroying Kasper’s future.
For such a short story Seducing Her Prince had so many elements. A troubled and tragic past, a heart frozen by years of detachment, a man looking for more, and not really knowing what that is, and an undeniable connection that would need to trump all odds and obstacles.
Kas and Ellie were very likeable characters and their romance was both heart-warming and heart breaking. But in the end love can conquer all if you simply just believe. I loved this story and can’t wait to read book two and see Davide get his just deserts!
