Publisher Description
Just a pawn in Salazar's game?
Donato Salazar can't forget his tragic past and he has no intention of forgiving the man responsible. Jilting his enemy's daughter will be the icing on the cake of his revenge, and beautiful Ella Sanderson is certainly sweet enough.
Except Ella isn't the vacuous socialite he expected, and she refuses to marry him! Her rebelliousness only makes Donato want her more, so he'll have to persuade her…touch by breathtaking touch. But soon Donato finds himself enthralled by their magnetic connection…
As their fake wedding day approaches one question weighs heavily on Donato's mind: will he love, honour…and betray?

Outdated
This book was perfectly written, in only a way that these published novels are. It was so polished, the words absolutely correct with perfect grammar. No swear words. Feels like a novel suited to an older gen with words like ‘she’d acted like a tart’ ummm no she was a woman who did what she wanted and there is no shame in that author. ‘She wore a floaty top, lightweight trousers and sandals’ no way would a 21st century woman wear that or describe it like that. I felt frustrated as the book wore on at how outdated it all was. I could certainly see how it would suit some readers who like things more PG, but it did not suit me. I stopped reading less than a quarter of the way through and really I should’ve known better from the cover.
