Publisher Description
I’m the new guy on the team, and I’m struggling to earn my teammates’ respect and forgiveness for the dirt I’ve slung at the Sockeyes in the past.
I played my entire life with my twin brother by my side, even in the pros. Now I’ve been traded to the Sockeyes, and my brother has been selected in the expansion draft by the Portland Icehawks.
I’m facing the unthinkable, competing against my brother in a game where only one of us emerges as the ultimate winner. And that’s not my only problem. I’ve developed a huge crush on one of my teammates’ sisters, and he’s not taking kindly to my interest in her, especially since he and I have butted heads in the past.
She’s not interested in me, but I’m not able to walk away. There’s something special about her, and I have to find a way to convince her that there’s also something special about me, even if her brother hates my guts.

Entertaining
After recently being traded to the Seattle Sockeyes, Banks Slater is having a hard time finding his place on the team. For the first time he and his twin brother are not on the same team and he finds it hard to imagine playing against the Portland Icehawks, against his brother.
This was a good addition to the Scoring series and was an entertaining story that ticked a number of boxes for me about Banks and the woman who captured his heart, Olympic Hockey medallist Jessie Wilder.
Jessie is recovering from a bad breakup and is delighted to be a coach for the junior team at the Seattle Sockeyes. Neither are looking for a relationship but sometimes fate plays tricks.
When they embark on a fake romance, neither Banks or Jessie realize the domino effect they have started. Not only is Jessie a coach, but she is also the sister of a teammate so lines should not be crossed, and yet they are. What follows is an entertaining journey that left me with a smile on my face.
Ticked all my boxes
Another visit to Seattle and another catch up with the Sockeyes and this time it’s recently traded Banks Slater and twice Olympic Hockey medalist Jessie Wilder’s entertaining journey. Jessie comes from hockey royalty but it’s still tough being a woman in a man’s world so she is excited for new job as coach to one of the junior teams at the Sockeyes. She is also getting over a breakup and she has no plans for a relationship in the future. Banks is struggling to fit in with his teammates because this is the first time he has been traded in his career and the first time he is not playing on the same team as his twin. Struggling to fit in he heads to the rink to get some ice time alone and what he didn’t expect was to find a beauty also searching for some alone time on the ice. What follows is a entertaining fake romance that soon turns into something more. Jessie should be off limits for many reasons, she is a teammates sister and she is just getting over a man that broke her heart but when she concocts a fake relationship to help both her and Banks he can’t refuse her. I loved everything about this book, I fell hard and fast for bad Boy Banks, i adored Jessie but what took this book to another level was watching two people not looking for love realising using love was right in front of them. A wonderful addition to the Seattle Sockeyes; A Scoring Series.
