Single All the Way

This is actually my first novel by this clearly talented author, and my TBR is now much larger. Ben and Emerson have both lost their spouses, leaving them as single parents. When Emerson and her children suddenly need a place to stay, Ben doesn’t hesitate to open his home to them. I loved the backstory of their relationship, the hidden feelings, the choices they faced, concerns for their respective children and the growth/healing they experienced. Beautifully emotional and heartwarming, sweet, spicy and realistic with great family, witty banter, action, twists, some laughs, some tears and a diverse collection of animals. A second chance that captivated me and has me eagerly awaiting the next instalment in the series.
