The girl who loves Christmas falls for the Grinch—it’s a Christmas miracle.
What started as a dumpster fire of a blind date turns into a deal.
In truth, it probably didn’t help that I showed up dressed like an elf but that’s a story for another time. Our start was rocky at best which is why it’s so frustrating that I can’t stop thinking about his sexy British accent. Or the way his chest and arms fill out his suit. Or his perfect hair with that single streak of grey at the front.
Santa likes lists and so do I, so here’s all the reasons why Andrew and I aren’t right for each other:
He’s my brother’s best friend
He’s the biggest grump I’ve ever met.
He hates Christmas.
That last one is big for a girl like me who thinks that the entire month of December should be a national holiday. So, when he calls for my help in planning his firm’s holiday party, I can’t pass up the opportunity to grow my small business. Bonus, we make a deal, and he agrees to attend three holiday events with me so I can make him fall in love with Christmas. As if I’d pass up an opportunity to make a Grinch’s heart grow three times its size.
It isn’t long until I discover Andrew has a very real reason to hate Christmas and I start to see him in a different light. That’s when the Christmas miracle begins.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
A Christmas miracle saves a very bad first date in this exciting romance from Piper Rayne. When event planner and avowed Christmas nut MacKenzie meets handsome British lawyer Andrew, she’s put off by his Scrooge-like attitude toward the holidays. But when Andrew realizes that organizing his office holiday party will impress his boss, he turns to MacKenzie for help…and then some. We love how Rayne pulls us into both characters’ points of view and shows us their evolution. From awkwardly skating into each other to talking about their pasts over hot cocoa, the pair seemed destined to kindle their undeniable spark. Single and Ready to Jingle is a perfect read for a chilly winter night.
Single and ready to tingle.
Piper Rayne have written a ripper here!
It’s the holiday season and let’s be honest it wouldn’t be magical without a romance from Piper Rayne and this one is grumpy, grinch Andrew and all things Christmas Kenzie’s wonderful journey. From the moment they meet something magical happens but can Kenzie convince British grump Andrew that the holiday season can be fun. These two may be total opposites on their holiday fees but that’s not the only obstacle in their way because Kenzie is his best friends sister and that’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed….. I was captivated in this Christmas Novella, maybe because I love the holiday season or maybe just because it was a fantastic, magical read with wonderful characters. Single and Ready to Jingle made be laugh, it made me swoon and it ticked all my Christmas boxes. Tis the season to have some fun and Single and Ready to Jingle will certainly leave you smiling.
Tis the season and Single and Ready To Jingle rang every sleigh bell for me. I loved this book, it had me smiling and laughing and made me feel good. What more can you ask for in a book?
From the moment they met the sparks flew between Andrew and Kenzie. I loved how all in for Christmas Kenzie is (probably because I love Christmas) and the fact that British Andrew, hates Christmas just added to the fun. The fact that Kenzie is his best friends sister, just add a complication that Andrew is determined to avoid.
I was totally invested in their story from the first word until the last and was sad when their story ended. When Andrew needs a favor from event planner Kenzie it starts a chain of events that lead to an unexpected and all consuming romance that you will love.
There were so many swoon worthy moments and if this book doesn’t put you in the mood for the holidays, then I don’t know what will.
One click this Christmas novella, it may be short but it rang all my bells.
