Maisie and Beck
Maisie and Beck's story is another great addition to the Into the Fire series. Their romance is hot and steamy. Willow Brook, Alaska is a great setting with lots of fun characters to get to know. I look forward to more of this series.
Beck and Maisie
Good story. In my opinion, it’s better than the first book because the storyline is better developed (involving Maisie’s dad). This made the story more interesting.
It would have been nice to see where Maisie’s EMT degree/experience comes into play though, especially given where she worked. This seemed like a missed opportunity. The first book had the same problem where information was introduced but never fully used for story development. And a lot of the parts are quite repetitive and could have been cut shorter.
Slow burn
I enjoyed this story. But, there was too much description and not enough communication for me. A question asked and then, two pages later, after internal monologue the question would be answered. Felt like it drew the story out too much. Really liked the characters though. 👍👍👍👍😁
