Good start for the solar illiterate.

Basic, simply worded, practical uses for for small scale solar. I already knew most of it, but I did actually learn some things, even though I've been tinkering with solar for years. Very good start for those interested in solar. Reasonably priced, and written by an Aussie.

Clear and concise. An excellent overview of small scale solar and battery technology. Really helped me a lot.

Small Solar is the book I wish I'd had ten years ago when tinkering with the system on my motorhome.

Peter explains the features and benefits of each part of the system, equipping you with the knowledge to build your own rig to meet your requirements.

There are pitfalls, for example you might think its best to get the largest inverter possible. I found his advice on panel and battery types worthwhile.

And everyone has different needs; it was great to see real-world examples of people using small solar so innovatively.
