Enjoyable
I enjoyed this book. Boyd's writing style is engaging, with just the right combination of action and prose for a thriller. In the book, we go on an African adventure with the quintessential James Bond. I was rapidly drawn into the plot and found myself engrossed with 007, wading through bodies, women and alcohol in perfect poise. The ending was a little rushed but did not spoil the overall experience.
