I hoped the Nazis would be defeated.
And they were.
I hoped the war would be over.
And it was.
I hoped we would be safe.
But we aren't.
‘Haunting... dangerous and desperate, but also full of courage and hope.’ The Guardian
Having survived the holocaust, Felix is facing new challenges as he tries to rebuild his life in Poland. He is determined to find his family and uncover the truth about his past. He also has to navigate the complex realities of post-war Poland, where anti-Semitism is still prevalent.
With its powerful blend of humour and heart, Soon offers a unique perspective on the aftermath of the Holocaust and the long-lasting impact of trauma, and it is a powerful reminder of the resilience and hope that can be found even in the darkest of times.

Great! Awesome! Yay! Woot!
I got soo very excited when I was told of this book. I was straight on here and read it by the nights end. It had an amazingly intense story line, as you always get with Felix, and I would prepare my tissues if I were you about twenty pages before the end! It was great to see Felix acting the way he usually did, even though in soon he is thirteen, and claims to be an adult (hehe good old Felix). It had some intense moments that I'm glad I read being the age that I am, and not when I was 13 when I first began the series. Be prepared for some bad things to happen half way through, but it's okay, Felix always finds a way to be positive. And I'm not going to ruin too much, but I was so happy to see he had a love interest in this one!
