After the death of her grandfather, Joey needs a fresh start, and she finds it in the town of Clemency.  She arrives just in time to celebrate the spring festival where the town crowns their daughters as the sprouts of spring. And while the town believes it's a high honor, every sprout goes missing after they are crowned. What exactly happens to the sprouts of spring?
