We love this sweet and unusual love story…even if it is a little sneaky. When aspiring journalist Justine bumps into her childhood sweetheart, Nick—an actor and astrology devotee—she devises a plan to win his heart: tweaking his monthly horoscope in her favour. What could possibly go wrong? What makes Minnie Darke’s feel-good novel particularly interesting is the rich array of diverse characters that she cleverly weaves in around the main storyline, all of whom are affected by Justine’s horoscopes. There’s a comforting, deeply Australian feel to Star-Crossed.

I LOVE this book!!!
Such amazing writing and characters. Planning on reading it again - which doesn’t happen often, but it was that good that I want to refresh myself on the characters and their initial interactions. The author pants such a pretty plot that it is addictive to the end.
