Starting over: A Way of Life

«Since I was diagnosed with cancer in 2003, I have spent a lot of time working on writing this book, a personal account of my life and the lessons I have learned along the way. After plenty of crying, laughing and feeling melancholic, I have come to the realization that the greatest lesson of all is to overcome your fears and step out of your comfort zone. As it is by taking that leap into unfamiliar territory that you will live up to your full potential.

Since I was a young boy, forced to leave Cuba during Fidel Castro’s uprising, up to the present day, working in Mexico with Ricardo Salinas Pliego, President and CEO of Grupo Salinas, I have tried to move forward, investing everything I’ve got without letting any obstacles stop me from succeeding.

Using my, maybe naively con dent, experiences as an example, I have written this book to demonstrate that with the right mindset anything is possible, as long as you don´t spend your entire life waiting for the right moment to come »
