Lucky, a young southerner, old before his time due to the mental damage caused by four years of brutal war.  Following a traumatic brain injury he's not sure where he is and how he got there. When he starts to remember, he's not sure he wants to.

Stealing Janet's Cattle. A young mother, wife and daughter managing the ranch by herself. When she eventually finds her stollen cattle she realizes that a male rancher would only have to worry about being shot.

A voice From Beyond. Another young man who has learned that the greener pastures may not be as welcoming as they first appeared. When times are tough, some people will do almost anything to make a buck. And if you're not being paid more than a meal, perhaps you can have  a laugh.
