Storm & Sacrifice

I was fifteen when my mother was killed by King Azemar Xeris. I've kept hidden for years, working the mines and keeping my head down.

Until I wake up on an altar, about to be a sacrifice for a dark ritual I don't understand, with icy blue eyes glaring down at me.

I don't make it far in my escape when Prince Xeris apprehends me, accusing me of crimes at the mine I'm certain I didn't commit. But apparently, there have been other victims of these sacrifices, and I may be the only survivor.

To clear my name, I'll have to work with the prince to find the killer and the purpose of this ritual. If only I could shake his familiar blue eyes.

The Autumn Equinox and Blood Moon are approaching, and I'm determined to be the last to suffer in this ritual. Even if I must work with the prince who has turned a blind eye to his kingdom's suffering for years.

I just hope I'm not working with the very male who tried to sacrifice me.
