Publisher Description
Fast. That's how I like life, especially by two great joys: bikes and women. I'm committed to exclusively riding one, but not the other.
Until April.
A sexy-arse freelance photographer who's travelled the world, and doesn't do long walks on the beach of romantic candlelit dinners. She enjoys running with the bulls and food spicy enough to make your hair fall out. If that weren't enough to get me hard, she rides a mean mother of a motorcycle.
I've gotta have a taste of this wildcat.
~Spencer (Jones)
I don't do fast. Not anymore. I've got my career, my independence, and since I fled Spain to come back home I promised myself that I wouldn't be put second-or third, for that matter-again.
Then I meet pretty boy Spencer.
He's smooth, ossing the most potent pheremones probably known to modern science, and he's making a move on me. One kiss was almost enough for my promise to dissolve.
My head says no, my treacherous body screams yes. I'm gonna make Spencer work for it. Make him fight for the chance to have me, because I know that deep down I'm worth it.
~April MacIntyre
*Strike is book three in the Spark series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but continues on with characters from Spark and Spike.
*Recommended for 18+ as it contains very steamy sex with motocross boys *sigh*.

Strike
Who doesn't love a bad boy womaniser?
Jones is no different.. Or is he?
With the little bits of him you see in Spark and Spike, you already have an image formed of him in your mind.... In walks Spencer. He will blow that image to bits and replace it with the real Spencer Jones. One who will leave you wanting more.
I was once a lover of country boys but thanks to Jennifer, I am a MX groupie. #MXBoysDoItBetter
Turns out MX Badboys have layers
When I started beta reading for Jennifer Ryder I fell in love with the world she created, I'd never read anything about MX boys before and instantly she had me hooked. The world of Aiden & Eevie had me transfixed, Aiden with alpha sexiness and giant heart and Eevie with her strong will and innocence, these characters wove their way into my heart.
Strike, the third novel in the series, focuses on Spencer Jones, Aiden's teammate, he's young, attractive, and definitely enjoying the spoils of motor cross, with women falling at his feet. His life is work, motorcross and plenty of no strings attached nights with available women and it seems to be suiting him, until he meets April.
April, self confessed tomboy, lover of high adrenaline sports, motorbike rider, from the second Spencer lays eyes on her he's hooked. April is direct, funny, confident and stunning, she immediately pushes him to be more, to prove himself worthy of a chance with her.
While these characters are both so outwardly confident, what I adored so much is that they both question themselves, question their professions, their choices, their pasts. I connected so deeply with April, I felt with such painful clarity her questioning herself, if she is enough, because I've struggled with that too, I've asked myself the same question. The more I read, the more I fell in love with her, with her spirit, her tenacity - reading Strike, experiencing it, was freeing in a way few books have been for me.
Ryder paces this story perfectly, it had my attention from the first page to the last lines, without a doubt Strike is Jennifer's best work to date, from the dedication I knew this story was going to be special, my expectations were high and Ryder did not disappoint.
