Wrong format - be aware before you purchase
I’m a fan of Sally‘s and I’m sure the content is going to be fine however this book is not in the correct format for Apple Books.
You cannot highlight or add notes to refer to later, however you can add a bookmark – which is a little useless to be honest.
I would not have purchased had I known and I’m incredibly disappointed as I’ve waited a long time to read this, as all of Sally‘s fans have.
Other books not in Apple format have started to make a note in their descriptor so that purchasers aren’t disappointed. I’m hopeful that shortly Sally’s publishers will provide an update in the correct format that all Apple readers will receive.
Sorry Sally – I love your work but youre publishers have given you the wrong steer for Apple readers. Think about if you’re reading a book on style – you add sticky notes you add flags you might even write in the margins or even highlight things that resonate for future reference. Your book does not support this currently.
Disappointed and hope that my review will prompt authors and publishers to be more careful in future.
