Off to a great start
When I heard there was a new series from Samantha Chase I jumped at the opportunity to read and review.
Having read several books by Samantha Chase I could not wait to dive in to Sunkissed Days. I really loved Mallory Westbrook and Jake Summerford’s story. There was drama, spice, romance and love; and although a quick read it certainly ticked the boxes for me. The relationship that Mallory has with Pops was so heartwarming and their banter just made me smile.
Mallory returns to Magnolia Sound for the summer and meets up with Jake, her twin brother Sam’s best friend. Because of his relationship with Sam, Jake has designated Mallory to be off limits but Mallory is determined to change his mind.
What will happen when a summer fling has the potential to become so much more? Can Mallory and Jake make a long distance relationship work?
I cannot wait to read the next book about Magnolia Sound and Jake and Mallory.
A Novella that packed a mighty punch
Sunkissed Days certainly leaves you wanting more and desperate to get your hands on the next book , it may have been a quick read but it still packed a mighty punch and it has all the feels you would expect in a full length novel.
Mallory Westbrook is spending the summer at her great grandfathers house and as soon as she catches up with Jake the boy who stole her heart she is on a mission to win him over and make him see the woman she has become......
Jake Summerfird can’t believe how much Mallory has changed but the one thing that hasn’t changed is she is still his best friends twin sister and that should make her off limits.
A summer of fun, parties, love and sunbathing makes for a entertaining read but what will happen as summer draws to a end, will Mallory and Jake end up being just a fling or will the promises they make to each other survive a long distance relationship.......
I loved this couple I loved the story and I can’t wait for more from Mallory, Jake and Magnolia Sound.
