Let me be among the first to offer my congratulations to Prof Ross Garnaut on this book which I know you will be talking about tonight on Q & A (11/11/19). I have a number of of qualifications, but economics is not one of them. Nevertheless I was able to understand most of the material in your book and it certainly came through loud and clear that taking the steps you outline to mitigate climate change is also in Australia’s economic interests. I am now feeling far more positive about Australia’s potential for responding to the climate change crisis.
