"This is Amber," I say, like I don't know who's calling me.
"Amber, hi, it's, uh, it's Drew."
He's so nervous, I love it.
"Hey Drew," I say, throatily enough to put him just a little more at ease.
"Hey," he croaks.
"Would you be up for a no-strings neighbor-with-benefits situation?"
"Uh." He wasn't expecting that to be my opening question. "Yes?"
"I know what I like. Do you know what you like?"
"Yeah." I can hear how ragged his breathing is getting. It's getting to me, too.
"I liked looking at you in the garden," he rasps.
"What did you like about it?" I tease.
