Trans-Balkan Pipeline, the company in charge of the construction of the Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline, has offered the Bulgarian government a new technology for unloading oil to address environmental concerns. Interestingly, the newly adopted approach is the opposite of the one which was initially adopted, and was defended by TBP executives as being safest in environmental terms.
