He hates the holidays. She lives for them. Let the games begin.
A small town, grumpy/sunshine romance from NY Times Best Selling Author Samantha Chase
Six months ago, Liam Donovan met the world's cheeriest, most upbeat woman at a wedding.
It was the longest two days of his life.
Now she's his next door neighbor.
Talk about awkward.
Tessa Sullivan believes in always looking at the bright side. Unfortunately, her new neighbor is the most negative man on the planet and seems to have made it his mission to ruin her good mood on a daily basis. She loves to sing, she loves to smile, but more than anything, she loves to decorate for the holidays. The fact that this seems to bug her new neighbor is simply a perk.
After twelve years in the Marines, Liam is more than ready to come home and start the next phase of his life. He's starting a business, reconnecting with his mildly over-bearing family, and loves the fact that he's finally got a place of his own. If only his neighbor's decorations would stay on her side of the property. There isn't one thing about Tessa that tempts him…until there is. Now she's all he can think about.
Being friends makes sense.
Becoming lovers was inevitable.
But having Tessa be his forever is more than tempting.

Entertaining
Tempt Me was a well written story that ticked a number of boxes for me. This is Liam Donovan and Tessa Sullivan’s and it was good to be back in Laurel Bay.
These two could not be more opposite, he is a grump and she is sunshine and light. On paper they should not work but thanks to Samantha Chase she has brought them together and on an entertaining journey.
There were times that the banter between them was witty and made me smile but there were also times where I was frustrated by our couple. Having said that, the growth, particularly of Liam as the story progressed was heart warming. I found Tessa a bit harder to connect to, I can’t put my finger on it but she did grow on me.
Both Liam and Tessa have baggage but Tess’s outlook on life was a little over the top and overpowering at times. However once we got to now why she was like she was it made more sense. The other Donovan’s typically poked their noses in to the relationship and that made for some fun and added an extra layer to the story.
Magical Read
I love catching up with the Donovan’s and I love the holiday season so Tempt Me was always going to be on my radar and it didn’t disappoint, this story was everything I expected and so much more. This is Liam Donovan and Tessa Sullivan’s journey and boy do they have an entertaining tale to tell. Liam is finally home for good and he has just moved into a new home on what he believed to be a peaceful subdivision what he didn’t expect is his new neighbour to celebrate every holiday by decorating her house and lawn and that means all the neighbourhood stopping by to view the decorations. Liam is anti all holidays, he is a grump but the woman next door who is the total opposite and who brings sunshine to everyone has caught his attention and not for her decorations….. These two are total opposites but we can’t control our feelings but for this couple to work they are going to need to dig deep and remove the baggage that is weighting them down. Tempt Me ticked all my boxes, I smiled, I swooned, I giggled and I held my breath as I watch this couple start a relationship. I fell hard and fast for this couple and I found myself cheering them on but what made this book extra special was catching up with the rest of the Donovan clan because no book in this series is complete without the family poking their noses in. Looking forward to what’s coming next from this wonderful family.
