Beautiful
Such a beautiful and touching story.
An alright read
I like the concept of this story but I felt there were a lot of holes in the plot and so many red flags with Trent that it was really a little ridiculous she didn’t clue in to him. And Kacey was very naïve and completely clueless to the grief of others. She totally lacked empathy until it was pointed out to her others were suffering too

Ten Tiny Breaths took my breath away, it lead me to falling in love with K.A Tucker’s writing so much so I've read this book twice. I was captivated from the the Prologue, “Just Breathe” I have the words tattooed on my wrist as a reminder. This story is about family, love, loss, fear, forgiveness and coping, it will pull so hard on your heartstrings you are on edge waiting for the final string to snap.
Tucker delivers a gut wrenching story of a girl surviving in life. One night changed Kacey’s life, gone is the girl so full of life and replaced with a shell of a girl who is haunted by that tragic night. Lacey is closed off, has nightmares, she has debilitating fears and has so much built up anger. She's barely keeping her head above water, her younger sister Livie, is the reason she's hanging on, trying to give her a good life a life she deserves. Livie is a tower of strength for her older sister, she is honest, mature and pure, she is the light Kacey needs.
Moving to Miami and starting fresh is what the girls need, Kacey isn't the most friendliest person but for Livie she is going to try when it comes to meeting their new neighbours, Storm and Mia. Kacey sticks to her word and over time let's Storm and Mia in but never letting them know about her past. She allows herself to have friends and to care about them something she hasn't allowed herself to do in four years. The other mysterious neighbour next door Trent from the moment she meets gives her a reaction, something she hasn't felt in a long time. Surprising herself and sister she gets to know Trent, letting him in and allowing to break down her walls and fears. The more time they spend together the more she needs him. The chemistry between Kacey and Trent is off the charts, you will be swooning for Trent in no time!
Just like Kacey Trent has his own secrets and past that he quietly struggles with. When their pasts catch up with them be sure to hold onto your seats because you are in for one hell of an emotional roller coaster ride…
