Great ideas, poor execution

The themes of this book are what kept me engaged, and I found aspects helpful and applicable to my own life, but the style of writing is difficult. I understand the use of the characters, however I feel that most people, myself included, struggle to become immersed in the ideas as they feel fictional due to the writing style.

Good concepts, but not well written to engage the reader

Book had some great insights and models that can be applied to changing your morning and routine. However, I did find the way in which the characters were written really difficult to relate to and personalise with. Naming them and always referring to them as “The” artist and “The” entrepreneur left them hard to view as real people. Also, lack of real life examples of how people have been able to apply the models to their lives made it a very unrelatable read and hard to continue reading at times. I see how the author intended the book to be written, but I struggled to engage with the content most of the time.
