Because the next attack is more than possible - it's inevitable.
No one can anticipate the depths to which the Others will sink - nor the heights to which humanity will rise . . .

The Infinite Sea (Book 2)
The Last Star (Book 3)
The Masterpiece Continues!
The plot twists and turns of The Infinite Sea is just as gripping as The 5th Wave. It was so captivating that for the first time ever I read an entire book in just one day! I literally can't wait for the third addition to this trilogy.
Not bad little read
Written in a intriguing voice and fantastically witty! However, it felt jumpy and slow to progress at times. Disappointed it was so condensed as well!
Besides the irritating teenage girl cliches in the book, I liked The 5th Wave. It had plenty of intrigue and action. But The Infinite Sea really takes a step back, being only 300 pages long and having the characters basically do nothing at all. I liked how they expanded on Ringer's story, but the book's structure was so weird. Basically, while Cassie and the others sat around in an abandoned hotel, only Ringer's back story is examined. The story doesn't really go anywhere and it's a bit disappointing.
