    OK, but nothing new

Honestly, I expected a lot more from this book. The fitness plan is basically a few basic HIIT-style exercises that you can find anywhere: burpees, push ups, etc. Hardly earth shattering. Maybe the best thing to take from this book is that it doesn’t really matter what you do, just go and spend 30 minutes doing a bunch of ‘whatever’ (e.g. jumping jacks, burpees, lunges, planks, squats, push ups, etc.). Every celebrity trainer and every website and youtube channel has exactly the same exercises and all they do is mix them up a bit. Whatever. The largest part of the book is recipes. They’re ok, but again, nothing spectacular. If you’ve read anything about diet and fitness, this is as basic as it gets. If you’ve never read anything, you will find some value in this book. At the very least you get everything in one place.
