When Sarah de Malmanche, a newly recruited environmental protestor, disappears under grim circumstances, her brother Ralph decides to launch an investigation. The incident leading to Sarah’s disappearance seems to hold the key. But at first, neither Ralph nor the police make any headway.



When Ralph employs a few methods that aren’t available to the Norfolk Constabulary, the investigation begins to bear fruit. But uncovering the life that Sarah never told him about and then getting to the truth of what happened to her, proves to be a hazardous business.
