Publisher Description

One spell. Four women. A world that wants to use them.

What begins as a harmless act of curiosity tears open the boundary between worlds and drags Catherine and her friends into Gar'nyse, a world shaped by ancient power, fragile alliances, and simmering war.

Stranded among strangers, the four women discover abilities they never knew they possessed. Powers that make them valuable, dangerous, and impossible to ignore. Their arrival does not go unnoticed, and it does not come without consequences.

As old threats awaken and enemies begin to move, survival is no longer enough. To stay alive and protect the people now depending on them, the women must decide what they are willing to become.

The Arrival is the first book in The BirthRight Trilogy, an epic portal fantasy of awakening power, tested loyalty, and destiny claimed by force of will.

The Arrival

I loved this book.
There is an incredibly strong bond between all the girls in this book, and I was a little confused when I first commenced reading due to changes between first and third person references, I quickly overcame that when I realised that Nicole, had very carefully ensured that all four main characters had equal voice.
The things these girls go through to find love. What an amazing adventure.
Must read 🤗

Average

Not sure if this is a first novel, but it reads like one. The use of first person for all 4 main characters is a little jarring and confusing. Switching back and forward it was easy to forget which character was talking at times. Would have preferred a chapter per character headed accordingly to make it easier to follow.
