THE BEST OFFICE ON EARTH - BIOPHILIA
Publisher Description
People are different in nature: More generous, more open hearted, more relaxed, more creative, more visionary and the list goes on. I know this because I’ve taken fifty groups to the high Himalayas of Nepal and over 3,000 corporate retreats around the world in nature.
People are different in nature but we live in cities, we work in offices, we drive in cars and we meet in cafe’s. In general, in city life we live 12 hours a day separated from nature. We get a few minutes morning and night if we’re lucky to run or walk the dog. Then on weekends maybe a few hours here and there between kids appointments and getting to see family and friends. Simply, it’s not enough. In this book I explain a few ideas about how to live in synch with nature. Yes, people are different in nature but if you can’t bring it home then it’s a really disappointing result of a big effort to live and breathe as the best possible you there is.
There are just five laws of nature. They don’t concern us until we start to think differently to those five simple principles. Then we fight with nature. That’s an ugly battle. It’s like pushing mud uphill. So, I’m suggesting here that, in spite of all the meme’s and generic information that encourages us to think in alignment with a philosophy or belief set, we’re far happier, healthier and wiser to line up with nature and then choose what we do.
