THE Blackstone Files

The mission doesn't exist. Neither does the man it was built to eliminate.

When CIA operative Jaden Scott is sent to Bogotá with a kill order and no exfiltration protocol, he understands two things immediately: this is not an extraction mission, and the man he was told to find has been waiting to be found.

Robert Velasco has spent twenty-six months inside the Medellín cartel building the evidence of a CIA programme so deeply embedded in Colombian political life that exposing it will require dismantling the chain of command that sent Scott there in the first place. The evidence is real. The drive containing it is in a cartel vault. And the coup it is designed to prevent is forty-eight hours away.

From the streets of Bogotá to the Amazon's deepest black site, from a private members' club in Medellín to the corridors of CIA headquarters, Scott discovers that Project Blackstone is not a corruption of American intelligence. It is what American intelligence has always been, once you strip away the accountability it has spent sixty years learning to perform.
