The Blue Castle
A lovely romance in the older tradition of the word. Montgomery's adult novel beautifully describes the waterways of St Lawrence and is filled with the unreasonable expectations of family and how to defy them. I thoroughly enjoyed Montgomery's descriptions of life in early 20th Century Ontario.
