But nothing can prepare her for what awaits. Because when she arrives, she finds herself involved in the kidnapping of a young marquess, fleeing murderous villains, and trying to elude her shrewd older brothers-all while attempting to piece together clues to her mother's strange disappearance. Amid all the mayhem, will Enola be able to decode the necessary clues and find her mother?
I am in lockdown now because of coronavirus, and at the start, my mum got like a hundred books from the library, all which I read within the first few weeks. The only books left was the Enola Holmes series. I didn’t think they looked so good, but after a while, I started reading them and I was instantly in love! It is such an awesome book series and I wish I could meet Enola. She is such an awesome character (not much older than me actual), and is super heroic and brave. She knows so much, and just from the series, I’ve learnt at least three different codes. I wish the series could go on forever, but I am looking forward to the film. I’ve seen the trailer so many times and it looks so good, although it’s a bit annoying how they changed Enola’s age. But overall, totally recommend Enola Holmes.
